Job Summary

As a Recruiting Specialist, you’ll help bring talented, compassionate people into our organization. You’ll support the full recruitment process — sourcing candidates, coordinating interviews, and partnering closely with managers and the HR team. Your work ensures that every candidate has a positive experience and that our teams have the support they need to grow.

This role is ideal for someone who is organized, friendly, and confident working with people at all levels. You’ll thrive in a calm, team-oriented environment where communication, consistency, and collaboration come first.

Schedule:

First shift, full-time hours. Specific work hours will be established in consultation with your supervisor.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Source and engage candidates through job boards and online platforms
  • Screen candidates by phone and video
  • Schedule interviews and manage follow-up communication
  • Write and update job postings across hiring platforms
  • Use applicant tracking systems, job boards, and internal databases
  • Attend job fairs, community events, and networking opportunities
  • Participate in HR and department meetings
  • Support recruiting projects and process improvements
  • Complete additional duties as assigned
  • Build strong relationships through clear communication, professionalism, and follow-through

What Makes You a Great Fit:

  • Friendly, organized, and comfortable working with people from all backgrounds
  • Patient, tactful, and able to communicate clearly with staff, candidates, and external partners
  • Able to balance multiple priorities and follow through on tasks
  • Good judgment and able to make decisions when needed
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience in an office or business setting
  • Preferred: 1–3 years of recruiting experience with demonstrated success in candidate placement
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and common office software

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to access various departments of a given location.
